As president of Ahead, Daniel Adamany is responsible for company strategy and overall vision of the organization. Daniel is hands-on, engaging directly with clients and partners, ensuring the organization continues to meet and exceed expectations. Prior to Ahead, Daniel played a pivotal role in EMC’s rise to prominence, winning several national awards for leadership and performance. During his last few years at EMC, he oversaw one of its largest global accounts. There, Daniel led a team that ultimately generated over $100M in only three short years. Daniel has a robust background in sales strategy and an unparalleled understanding of finance. He plays a critical role in structuring deals and assisting clients with procuring vital solutions in today's difficult economy. Daniel is involved in several entrepreneurial ventures within various industries, including real estate, hospitality, and entertainment, where he lends his experience and vision to drive success. Daniel has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Chief Operations Officer
Aaron Nack is chief operating officer of Ahead, where he directs operations, finance, service delivery, marketing, and organization strategy. In this role Aaron oversees every aspect of the business cycle, ensuring proper diligence is conducted in delivering consistent, sustainable growth. Prior to Ahead, Aaron was president of Fulcrum Consulting Group, which he founded in 2001. Fulcrum developed cutting-edge network software applications and delivered a variety of network and advanced data center service solutions through partnerships with EMC and SBC. In 2007, Aaron combined the service proficiency of Fulcrum with Daniel Adamany’s sales expertise to create Ahead. Aaron is heavily involved with not-for-profit work through GASP (Games Adolescence Shouldn’t Play), an international organization he founded in 2005. He serves on the board of directors for several niche organizations, including Organic Lifestyles and Pipedreams Productions. Aaron has a degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Tim Frank |
Vice President of Sales – Midwest
Tim Frank joined Ahead to manage the sales organization. Tim is responsible for revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and sales strategy for Ahead, drawing on over 14 years sales experience, including seven-plus years with EMC. There he received several national awards for leadership and achievement as a top performer year after year. Tim was repeatedly promoted, most recently serving as area vice-president of the Midwest, leading sales and engineering teams covering seven states with total revenue responsibility of over $130M. Tim’s proven track record and vision are key assets to Ahead and invaluable to Ahead’s growth as a premier technology company. Tim has an MBA in finance and entrepreneurship from DePaul University and a bachelor of science degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Tim is also a guest lecturer for sales management in the MBA program at DePaul.

Vice President of Sales – Northeast
Michael Connolly brings significant sales and storage/information management experience and knowledge to Ahead and its field sales team. Mike started his sales career at EMC, where he spent 12 years with duties in sales management in NYC, Boston, San Francisco, and Chicago. His final role in Chicago was area vice-president, managing an enterprise sales territory that generated annual revenues of $250M. Mike has been the North America Sales leader for Storage Networks (SNI), Infoblox, Acopia/F5, and Copan Systems. Mike is responsible for expanding Ahead revenue and growth in the Northeast by focusing on strategic partnerships and key end-user accounts. Mike’s experience, dedication, and passion for the business is instrumental to Ahead in its brand expansion and driving a leadership position in the marketplace. Mike has a bachelor's degree from Boston College.
Dan Haumann |
Vice President of Service Delivery
Dan Haumann is Ahead's vice president of service delivery, responsible for developing and managing high-value infrastructure services focused on addressing critical client needs. Before Ahead, Dan worked for CNA Insurance as vice-president of service delivery. There he led the delivery of a dual data center environment with substantially improved recovery capabilities, including the consolidation and virtualization of systems, storage, and networking, resulting in major improvements in business service availability and total cost of ownership. Prior to CNA, Dan led the Service Delivery team at Sears, Roebuck and Co. There Dan was a key member of an executive team that transformed infrastructure delivery by providing considerable operational improvements. Dan developed his infrastructure expertise at Home Depot, where he was instrumental in delivering highly scaleable systems that helped drive revenue growth from $7B to $60B over 10 years. Dan has over ten years of experience managing infrastructure budgets in excess of $150M, and infrastructure teams comprised of up to 230 engineers. Dan has a master of science degree in computer information systems from Georgia State University and a degree in management and computer science from Lewis University.
William “Eric” Ledyard |
Chief Technology Officer
As CTO, Eric Ledyard steers Ahead’s technology vision and is responsible for defining the company's evolving technology strategy. He works directly with Ahead clients to understand their existing environment and help create solutions that address current needs while preparing for future requirements. Eric is an industry leader in building cloud strategies focused not only on the developing technology, but on essential business processes. Prior to joining Ahead, Eric was the senior systems engineer for the business continuance and disaster recovery team at Kashya/EMC, managing 20 states in the Midwest. Eric was a member of the technical competitive analysis team at EMC, providing expert insight on Hitachi Data Systems and IBM virtualization products. Before that, he held engineering roles for Sun Microsystems and two technology resellers, specializing in storage solutions and high-performance systems architecture. Eric's significant hands-on end-user experience utilizing the technology and managing data centers gives him a profound understanding of all aspects of the value chain. Eric attended the Purdue University School of Engineering, majoring in computer science and minoring in electrical engineering technology.
