Ahead Announces New VP of Consulting

Ahead is proud to announce that Mitch Northcutt is its new vice president of consulting. Mitch brings over 25 years of diverse business and information technology experience to Ahead. He is an expert in the design, implementation, and management of multiplatform systems, whose experience spans all major computing platforms and technologies.

“Mr. Northcutt’s experience and vision will be instrumental in fulfilling Ahead’s goal of enabling companies to understand and take advantage of today’s revolutionary technologies,” said Aaron Nack, COO of Ahead.

Mitch is charged with leading delivery teams in design and deployment planning efforts for large-scale virtual infrastructure projects and is responsible for Ahead’s Cloud Readiness Assessment Methodology—a framework that enables clients to comprehensively evaluate the current state of their infrastructure readiness and plan corporate migration to internal and external cloud infrastructure.

Mitch has applied his unique insight to a variety of mission-critical initiatives for Fortune 500 clients, including a 20,000-user corporate data center relocation effort, the design and deployment of a virtual desktop computing environment supporting over 8,000 concurrent users, and the rapid deployment of a virtual computing infrastructure for a leading insurance company.

Mitch has also aided in the design, planning, and deployment of many of the largest virtual server and desktop environments nationally.

Prior to joining Ahead, Mitch played executive roles in several successful consulting organizations, including GlassHouse Technologies, RapidApp, and Ouray Technology Partners, which he co-founded. Mitch has consistently maintained his vision of consulting teams dedicated to the dual goal of compressing deployment time frames and reducing overalls costs.
