Ahead Technical Consultant to address St. Cloud VMUG on how to virtualize Tier 1 applications with confidence.
There are many reasons to virtualize your Tier 1 applications: Provide simple high availability, application consolidation, an accelerated lifecycle for your business apps, and applications on demand—just to name a few.
Despite the benefits, though, application teams are often reluctant to virtualize their Tier 1 applications. Infrastructure teams can accelerate the adoption of Tier 1 virtualization by demonstrating the value of virtualizing the business-critical Tier 1 application and giving the application owners the confidence to go virtual.
In this session Dave Strebel, Ahead technical consultant, will address virtualizing Tier 1 applications. Attendees will learn about:
- the benefits of virtualizing Tier 1 applications
- overcoming objections to virtualizing Tier 1 applications
- design considerations when deploying business-critical applications
- enabling technologies for a successful deployment of Tier 1 applications
